[ A spray of oval green leaves sprawls over a pink granite boulder. The leaves look slightly thick, as if the plant that bears them is a succulent. ]
SO good to get back out into the woods.
I wish I’d gotten a better pic of these leaves, but, well. They’re cool-lookin anyways.
I spent most of the time working on a faery home decor piece, but I did take a walk or two with the boys. I managed to gather a BUNCH of ponderosa resin — I got all of this in about fifteen minutes.

[ A pile of gold-brown lumps of ponderosa resin sits tucked in a fold of fabric — yes, I used my t-shirt to hold what I found. ]
Couldn’t miss these bright fall leaves — I love the colours.

[ Tiny red-orange leaves with serrated edges lay on the ground, spreading out from red stems. ]
I love these tiny details. I wish I had a better camera, so I could get better pictures of them.
