delicate spite #31

$19.00

So over the summer I was NOT in a good place. I was burnt out, nothing was getting done, everything on my body hurt, & it was too hot to EXIST. Not much choice about the existing part, so I sat in my comfy chair, channeled the spite that’s three-quarters of what keeps me going from one day to the next, & made earrings about it.

A LOT of earrings.

I wasn’t in the mood for hammering, so they’re all made from nice light wire. I had a bunch of beads I just wanted to get rid of, so I used those. & I kept making variations & variations on a theme, cos that’s all I had brain for. They’re small & simple & delicate, not my usual style, but see also: brain.

Sometimes, all you can do is survive. Sometimes you’ve got JUST enough extra to survive, & then make earrings about it.
