stars and bells

i did manage to make a foresty pendulum • appropriate for Scouts of all genders & also rangers of Ithilien

with thanks to sylvia plath’s poem finisterre for the title

Out of stock

• i found the seaglass on the banks of Fountain Creek in Colorado • guess that makes it creek glass?

• a friend sent me the big beads that look like walnuts • along with a bunch of other cool stuff • it’s really neat when people do that

• the bit of leather thong came with the beads from Ivar • not that i used any of the beads i got from him here • just the thong

• i traded some soap for the small wood beads & the green ones too • i wish i remembered what kind of rock the green ones are made from

• my brother-in-law gave me the copper wire • he used to repair diesel generators for a living & wound up with a lot of scrap • i wouldn’t call five feet of wire ‘scrap’ • but what do i know

it's this big:

• the entire pendulum is 13.75″ long, tip to toe

• the loop at the top is 7/8″ across

• & the seaglass piece at the bottom is 1.25″ long
