[Loiosh, an orange tabby, is curled up asleep on my bed next to my pillow, both forepaws curled and crossed under his chin.]
There really isn’t a whole lot to say in a post like this. He’s the adorablest, & he’s my sweetest boy.
[His paws are still doing the thing, but one eye has opened just the tiniest bit. There’s a line of sunlit fur along his back.]
He’s also SEVENTEEN now, & I would like to know what even is time.
[Enough time has passed that Loiosh’s left ear is now in the sun. He’s uncurled a bit, and his forepaws are placed neatly in front of his face.]
He was a tiny tiny kitten only two weeks ago! Maybe three! But also we have been together forever.
[He’s in the same spot, but on a different day; the lighting is indirect but brighter. One forepaw is curled sideways, almost under his chin, and the other is half-tucked in front of him. Both eyes are just slightly open.]
By the time this posts he’ll have gotten the first installment of his traditional birthday salmon. I think I’m gonna start getting him salmon a bit more often; he enjoys it SO much.
[His eyes have drifted closed, and he is peacefully asleep.]
